Welcome to Faith Journey
Each of us is on a journey to answer two of the biggest questions for mankind; what is truth, and where is the hope? Here at Burns Christian Church we believe we have the answer to those questions.
Everyone person has a inner desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves maybe it's being part of the local softball league, a community musical group, or chamber commerce team. Burns Christian Church believes that being involved and partnering with a church is like a family and that is bigger than ourselves.
We have partnered with "Barnabus Ministiry" - a ministry of O.C.E.F. (Oregon Christian Evangelistic Fellowship) assess and recapture the excitment of making disciples one person at a time.
This partnership has responsiblities. We are asking those who consider BCC as their home, individuals who are regulare attenders and those who have visited at least four times in the last 6 months to assist us in this assesment. There are three immediate areas you can begin with this Faith Journey.
1) Pray
Prayer is the best and the first thing you can do. There is a spiritual battle that is taking place in the heavenly realms you do not see. The enemy does not want to see BCC become a disciple making church. This would be against the mission of the enemy.. But Christ has commanded the church to make disciple. Be in prayer as we re-align ourselves with Christ's commands.
2) Come to the Faith Journey Evening
Faith Journey evening will consist of filling out a questionnare that will provide the Barnabus Ministry and our shepherds information in regards to individuals spiritual journey. With the information provided, we will be able to provide a strategy to access and recapture the excittment of making discples one person at a time.
3) Take the online Assesment
Now that you have filled out the questionnaire on October 27th, please continue the Faith Journey by going to
www.cdfonline.com/legacy/burns. This will take about 5 - 10 minutes to fill out.
