Generations
We are committed to reaching families in Harney County. We have a wide range of age groups attending our church. They range from 0-90, so we are committed on reaching generations of lost people throughout the area.
Reproducing Believers
Every living thing has a life cycle. We believe this is true for the church. God has a specific lifespan for Burns Christian Church. If we stop reproducing and multiplying ourselves (seeking & saving the lost), then the life cycle of Burns Christian Church will come to an end very quickly. We are committed on seeing the “Great Commandment” and the “Great Commission” lived out in every member.
Innovative Worship
At BCC, our worship services are about worshipping our King. Each of us connects with God on and at a different level. Some may encounter God during our worship set, or others may experience God’s grace during our teaching time, and others may encounter Jesus during Communion or offering. This being the case, we offer several styles of worship services, with the same purpose glorifying Jesus.
Intimacy with the Creator
We take our worship seriously at Burns Christian Church; we uphold and honour our Savior. One of our goals is to see individuals connect with Jesus on an intimate level. Our services may be relaxed in dress but we are not relaxed when we are confronted by the Savior. We have planned and organized our ministries and services to reflect our commitment for intimacy with the Creator.
Church Planting Churches
Along with reproducing believers, we also are committed to reproducing churches. BCC is committed to planting churches. We believe the single most effective way we can reach a lost and dieing world is to plant, church planting churches. Our goal is to be involved in planting a church every five years.
Striving for excellence, commitment to quality
Each ministry is devoted to serving the Lord with excellence. For whatever we do we do it best for the Lord. We do not let perfectionism become our worship. We are committed to quality. For our perfect God created us with His unique touch of quality we shall give Him nothing less.
Community Groups
Community Groups are small bands of people meeting on a regular basis, in a varity of places, devoted to seeing authentic relationship flourish through, prayer, connection, care and study. BCC is not a church with small groups we are Community Groups that make our church. Deep relationships are built with intimacy, we believer that this is done not during our Celebration Services but during our Community Groups.
